The self-proclaimed Delinquent is what he refers to himself as. Rihito is the son of Nobuo and Maemi Shimezu,immigrated from Japan. He has a one sided rivalry with Jennifer Fredrick, he hates her guts but also finds her endearing. He would do anything to make sure it stays that way.

Before Greenhill:

Rihito’s family emigrated from Japan in the early 60s when he was about eight. His father, Nobuo was a veteran, and a former swordsman while his mother worked as a kunoichi (To be clear, this was before Rihito was even born) and retired to work as a midwife. Being the only child meant Rihito kind of had to teach himself everything. Since his mother was in and out of the hospital and couldn't spend time with him. His father on the other hand, was looking for jobs that would accept him and when he finally found one as a rookie cop, it only took time away from home so Rihito couldn't talk with anyone. In his teen years, he didn't have a lot of friends and struggled with the language barrier which made the teachers enroll him into special education classes despite having no learning disabilities. During that period, Rihito was repeatedly attacked by other special ed classmates unprovoked and the teachers would brush it off. Children would also bully him by calling him racial slurs and mocking his accent. After Middle school, he became very insecure about his culture and began to change his appearance to appear American via makeup. He also had begun taking classes to learn english which was how he was even able to enroll in Greenhill.
