A sweet girl who’s very optimistic about life. She likes welcoming her classmates as family and friends although her people pleasing might be found annoying. Her father happens to be a sherif who works with the school which is why she was some knowledge of self-defense. Stephen is her little brother only by a year; however, she still sees him as a baby.

With her classmates: As a member of student council, Jennifer always make sure to create a positive impact on the campus’s reputation! She often does community service before class or during her off periods.

She's currently in her third year of college.

Before Greenhill:

Jennifer wasn't very close with her father as much as she was with her little brother, Stephen. Jennifer was never close with her father whose job as a sheriff took most of his day and focused away from her and Stephen while her mother especially with her being in rehab after battling her drug addiction. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when her mother passed away when she was mistaken for a shoplifter, armed with a revolver in her purse which made the officer shoot her twice in the head. This all occurred when she was only fourteen since then her death had left a mark on not only her family but the entire house. The family were now tight on money for a while, which led Jennifer and Stephen to find jobs to help sustain bills. Jennifer worked as a gas station attendant while Stephen was a paper boy. Jennifer was a well-behaved child throughout her years, though most of that stems from relentless bullying. During this time, everyone begins easing up during the rise of ending segregation but that didn't stop her from being a victim of bullying. Comments about her hair were continuously thrown at her face. These comments ranged from it being referred to as such as it being unkept, dirty, and nappy. She didn't just receive this from white kids but also from minorites. Her brother also faced this too but it was vastly crueler due to his albinism. She made it her power to protect her little brother from being hurt like she's been her entire life.

Stephen

Jennifer was parentified once her brother became six. As she got older, she noticed how her father and mother spoiled Stephen and started forcing responsibilities onto her now she was ‘becoming a lady’. On the other hand, when her brother makes a mistake, he’s forgiven and all of the blame is forced onto her. This resentment only began to boil after the passing of her mother. Her father begin forcing his traditional values onto Stephen, pressuring him to be a man and to start watching over his sister. Since then, Stephen has became a completely different person, that innocent boy was gone, replaced by rebellious bastard who hovers over her as if he’s been the protector and not the other way around.By protective, it’s purely forced misogyny on Stephen’s side, he would never be physical with Jennifer. Ever.

Rihito Shimezu

Jennifer has….mixed feelings about Rihito at first sight. She knew Rihito prior to Stephen’s death since she was the one who navigated him to his classes and the dormitory though they barely speak to each other. When they did, it was usually backhanded compliments and remarks about her appearance and how she didn’t act a certain way. It wasn’t until after Stephen’s death, Rihito had been less subtle with his remarks once he found out the victim was in fact her brother. Though in the future, depending on Rihito’s choices whenever to sabotage the investigation or decide to help may lead to gaining Jennifer’s trust.
